Day 2: Amman / Madaba / Mount Nebo / Makawer / Amman
After Breakfast / Check out, then transfer to visits Madaba Church this Byzantine bishopric has 14 churches of major artistic value as well as extraordinary schools of mosaics. Enter St. George’s Church in Madaba and contemplate its map of Palestine exhumed in 1898 during the construction of the church. This mosaic from the 6th century, barely altered, traces the geography of the Byzantine Near East. Thereafter departure for Mount Nebo, 10 km northwest of Madaba. It is at its summit that Moses would have seen the Promised Land right before his death. Culminating at 840 m above the sea level, the mountain became a universal pilgrimage site for Christians. Before leaving this city, you will have the opportunity to visit one of the mosaic workshops. Continuation to Machaerus (Mukawir) lies in modern day Jordan. Now a hilltop ruin, with impressive views, it was once the fortress of Herod Antipas where John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded. It is located 75 km southwest of the capital city of Amman and 32 Km southwest of Madaba city. The castle ruins lie 700 meters above sea level and overlook the Dead Sea. Transfer back to Amman, Overnight.
Day 3: Amman / Bethany (Baptism Site) / Dead Sea / Amman

Day 4: Amman / Queen Alia Airport or Sheikh Hussein Bridge – North Border, Transfer to the airport an hour drive, Or transfer to North Border (Sheikh Hussein Bridge)
